Zhao has been at the Mandarin School for over 10 years. She is a native speaker, having gained Bachelor’s degree in Teaching from xxx University in China. Zhao had taught ‘A’ level Mandarin at the Alcester Grammar School in Warwickshire and pre-U students at Oxford.   Zhao teaches GCSE and ‘A’ level courses.

 

 

 

Ms. Cai Mei is an experienced teacher who had been teaching Mandarin Chinese as a foreign language for many years.   She is a native speaker with a passion for education.  Her class is fun and children get the chance to learn the Chinese language and culture.

 

 

 

 

Ms. Yvonne Hedderman has been with the Mandarin school since it was founded.  She is also a native speaker who is a great teacher as well as a fantastic cook!   She has taught many students who graduated from Mandarin school with good GCSE and ‘A’ level grades.   She often brings in delicious homemade Chinese delicacies for students to share and learn about Chinese culture through food.

 

 

• Mrs. Xiao Hui Zhang Evans is a qualified teacher who teaches Mandarin at Pate’s grammar school.   She is one of the founding teachers at the Mandarin school.    Mrs. Evans is a versatile teacher who can teach at all levels from beginner to advanced levels.

 

 

 

Mrs. Luo Juan is an experienced teacher both in China and UK.   She is a native speaker and a qualified teacher.  She uses a variety of techniques to ensure children are engaged during the whole lesson.   She teaches classes both on Saturday and Sunday.

 

 

 

Ms. Li Yan has been teaching at the Mandarin school for over 10 years.  She is outgoing, fun, and great with children.  She has taught classes from foundation to GCSE levels.
